Builder Depot – Friern Barnet

Builder Depots marketing manager called on Signstar’s friendly and knowledgeable team to help expand their customer base in Southgate. The requirement was for an external sign with an overall size of twenty metres by six metres and to install the lettering at a height of 20m to reach their neighbours customers with a viewing distance of up to 150m.

Signstar assign a project manager to each and every one of our valued clients, Builder Depot were no different. A site visit was arranged to determine the best method for installation whilst working within a busy yard at this height. As with many of the large-scale projects we work on, it was deemed safer for the staff and customers of Builder Depot, as well as our highly trained installation team to complete this installation outside of normal working hours.

Our in-house creative graphic design team provided artwork and colour samples whilst ensuring the project was kept consistent with the Builder Depot brand guidelines.

Based at our production factory in North Finchley, our hardworking sign makers laser cut 73 letters varying between 800mm and 2000mm tall before powder coating to a matt yellow colour reference.

Within 10 working days from artwork approval, these stunning powder coated aluminium letters were manufactured and installed by our highly skilled and professional team who hold PASMA and IPAF licences allowing us to complete the installation without requiring subcontractors to operate the access equipment.
