Projecting Signs London
A projecting sign — also known as a blade sign — extends perpendicularly from your building, making it visible to pedestrians approaching from either direction. Where a flat fascia sign can only be seen head-on, a projecting sign catches the eye from further along the street and draws people in.
At Signstar, we design and manufacture bespoke projecting signs for businesses across London and the UK. From traditional bracket signs and illuminated lightboxes to contemporary aluminium and acrylic blades, we produce signs that work for your building, your brand, and your environment.
Everything is made in-house and installed by our own team — so you have one point of contact from the initial brief through to the finished sign on your building.
What We Offer
Projecting signs are one of the most effective ways to increase visibility on a busy street. They work particularly well for businesses on the ground floor of multi-occupancy buildings, where space on the fascia is limited, or where foot traffic approaches from the side.
We manufacture projecting signs in a range of materials — aluminium, stainless steel, acrylic, and timber — with a variety of finishes including powder-coated colours, brushed metal effects, and custom-painted options. Illuminated versions using LED lighting are available for businesses that need visibility after dark.
Our team handles everything from design and manufacture through to installation and any required planning applications — so you don’t have to coordinate multiple contractors.

Signstar installed a very impressive text sign for Builder Depot New Southgate on the buildings shell, 20m high. The initial stages of the design were thoroughly discussed and we were supplied high quality digital mock ups. Installation was completed without a hitch, very quickly and just in time for Christmas. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Great communication, great attitude and a really fantastic sign which perfectly fit the brief.
I have used Mitch and his team for all my business requirements, from my shop signage, business cards to my company shirts. Their customer service is second to none, they take the time to go through my exact requirements and answer any questions I’ve had. I am also using them to wrap my company vehicle too. I would recommend them 100%.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We ordered practically last thing on a Friday for a show on Sunday and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the print was ready in time. The poster looks fantastic, highly recommended for a very professional, fast and friendly service.
