Wooden Fascias London
Traditional wooden fascias are a classic and timeless form of shopfront signage, particularly well suited to businesses in heritage areas, conservation zones, and locations with strict planning regulations. They add a touch of elegance and character to a building frontage while providing a durable and weather-resistant surface for lettering and branding.
At Signstar, we design and manufacture traditional wooden fascias using 18mm marine-grade ply and treated timber frameworks — providing a strong and durable base that is painted on all sides and edges for waterproofing and long-term protection against the elements. A flashing along the top edge of the fascia helps direct moisture away from the wood, preventing water damage and extending the life of the installation.
We offer a variety of architrave types and widths to complement your property’s design, and our wooden fascias work well alongside LED trough lights for enhanced nighttime visibility. Acrylic letters can be mounted to the fascia for a modern touch to the traditional form. While designed to be low maintenance, we recommend a fresh coat of paint each year to maintain appearance and add an extra layer of weather protection.

A flashing along the top edge of each fascia directs moisture away from the timber — preventing water ingress, reducing the risk of rot, and extending the life of the installation.
Traditional wooden fascias add character and elegance to any shopfront — a timeless choice that enhances heritage properties and high street premises alike.
Signstar installed a very impressive text sign for Builder Depot New Southgate on the buildings shell, 20m high. The initial stages of the design were thoroughly discussed and we were supplied high quality digital mock ups. Installation was completed without a hitch, very quickly and just in time for Christmas. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Great communication, great attitude and a really fantastic sign which perfectly fit the brief.
I have used Mitch and his team for all my business requirements, from my shop signage, business cards to my company shirts. Their customer service is second to none, they take the time to go through my exact requirements and answer any questions I’ve had. I am also using them to wrap my company vehicle too. I would recommend them 100%.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We ordered practically last thing on a Friday for a show on Sunday and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the print was ready in time. The poster looks fantastic, highly recommended for a very professional, fast and friendly service.
